DISCRIMINATION - DISCRIMINATION LAW
WHAT IS RACIAL DISCRIMINATION?
Every human being has the right to enjoy and exercise their human rights and fundamental freedoms in their public life. You may have suffered racial discrimination if you have experienced a restriction or exclusion on that right based on your:
  • Race
  • Colour
  • Ethnic Origin
  • National Origin
Such treatment is illegal under the Racial Discrimination Act. Again, a wide range of conduct, ranging from name calling to inappropriate gestures, can constitute racial discrimination.
