EMPLOYMENT LAW - FOR EMPLOYERS
Employees are entitled to 10 days personal or carer’s leave per annum. This is available to be used if the employee is unfit to work or must care for a member of their immediate family. A further 2 days leave per occasion is available if the employee has exhausted their entitlements. 2 days compassionate leave is available for the death or serious illness of a member of the employee’s immediate family.
